INTERNATIONAL NETWORK FOR ACADEMIC COLLABORATION IN THEORY OF OBJECTIVATION (RICTO)
The INTERNATIONAL NETWORK FOR ACADEMIC COLLABORATION IN OBJECTIVATION THEORY (RICTO), coordinated by Professor Luis Radford (École d'éducation, Université Laurentienne, Canada) and Professor Bernadete Morey (Postgraduate Program in Science and Mathematics Teaching, Brazil), was created in 2021 with the aim of establishing a space for researchers and research groups related to Objectification Theory (TO) to meet.
Considering the expansion of studies and research that take OT as a basis, RICTO is an initiative to jointly produce, develop and disseminate research initiatives on the school reality at different levels and schooling systems in different countries, in addition to promoting the training of beginner teachers and researchers in the educational perspective of OT.
Its homepage was created to be a means of communication between members of the network and the community of teachers, researchers and other people interested in the theme of Objectification Theory.
RICTO'S SHARES:
Periodic holding of its own international academic event that meets the training and research needs related to OT;
Dissemination of studies and research in TO, as well as related publications and the researchers involved;
Holding joint seminars for research groups to deepen studies and share ongoing research;
Holding conferences on specific OT topics;
Courses on topics of Objectification Theory.
